Graduation 2009

Yay! Richard Graduated!- A little sad though too. He has been in the school system since he was 3 months old. He loved school and he had some awesome teachers down through the years. Richard is my special needs child and was able to stay in school through age 21. Now what?-- Well, I am not sure. One of his old vision teachers is helping me design a program and come up with activities for him. I will be like homeschooling an adult although he has the mind and heart of a child. My hubby's work is going to hire him as an independent contractor to de-bur plastic parts. That is something we believe Rich will be able to do. Well I will keep you posted. Anyway here are some graduation pictures.

Congrats to Richard on a job well done! you must be bursting with pride!

The milk for making yogurt has to heat to 180 degrees to make it "ready" to accept/work with the yogurt culture you will be adding to it as a "starter". i don't know all the science behind it and that's about as best as I can put it. LOL It has to cool down so it's not too hot to kill the good bacteria in the starter you are adding - or your yogurt will not make. As me how i know? HAHA.

try it! If you like thick yogurt you can add more powdered milk to it. it really is good! A yogurt maker is really a glorified crockpot LOL!

Wow! Did you ever envision yourself sitting at his graduation! What an accomplishment for him and for his parents and the part you and your husband must have played in this achievement.

Congratulations to your son! That's awesome. :-)

I saw you mention his graduation and disabilities on another blog and I had to come and say hello, as the Mum of ten year old boy who is also blind & autistic. *waves* Nice to 'meet' ya!
